Amcal is one of Australia’s oldest pharmacy brands, with stores in all states and territories across the country. Members of Amcal’s loyalty program, Amcal Rewards, can access a range of benefits across all pharmacies.
Amcal Rewards is a points-based system. And like many other pharmacy loyalty programs, points are only awarded on non-prescription purchases. You’ll receive five Amcal Rewards points per $1 spent, and there are even bonus points on offer throughout the year. Points can be redeemed towards non-prescription purchases at any Amcal Pharmacy in Australia.
To join Amcal Rewards, you can sign up in-store or online to receive your physical membership card, which you’ll need to keep handy when earning or redeeming points.
National Pharmacies loyalty program
The National Pharmacies loyalty program is one of Australia’s most well-known pharmacy loyalty programs. There are two membership categories – single and family – each with a fee payable that grants you membership for one year, though holders of a Seniors Card or Concession Card receive a reduced annual fee. It’s one of the very few pharmacy loyalty programs that attract a membership fee, but there are some perks that other programs don’t offer.
For starters, members of the National Pharmacies loyalty program may receive benefits on certain medications and private prescriptions. There are also member benefits on optical products, pet prescriptions, and even subsidised vaccinations. National Pharmacies offers a range of other health services including health checks and equipment hire. And all of this is in addition to exclusive member-only pricing and access to promotions.
This pharmacy loyalty program is structured a little differently from others, in that you won’t receive rewards on purchases. But signing up for the program – which can be done online – offers plenty of benefits that easily offset the annual fee.
Star Discount Chemist loyalty program: Superstar Rewards
Star Discount Chemist is one of Australia’s leading discount pharmacies with over 60 stores in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.
Superstar Rewards is Star Discount Chemist’s loyalty program that offers members additional perks and discounts on top of the pharmacy’s already-low prices. For every $1 spent in-store, members will earn three Super Star Points. Once you’ve accumulated 500 points, you’ll receive $5 to spend in-store. Membership is free, and you can join Superstar Rewards simply by downloading the mobile app and creating an account. Plus, there are even 500 Super Star Points up for grabs just for joining the program – that’s $5 into your account straight away to redeem in-store.
Blooms the Chemist loyalty program: My HealthRewards
Blooms the Chemist has metropolitan and rural locations in Victoria, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
My HealthRewards is Blooms the Chemist’s loyalty program, where members can take advantage of discounts and rewards in-store and online. You can earn points on all non-prescription purchases at a rate of one point per $1 spent. There are a few bonus points on offer when you complete certain activities like an in-store health check, plus you’ll even receive a birthday bonus each year.
TerryWhite Chemmart loyalty program: myTWC
With over 500 stores across Australia, TerryWhite Chemmart is one of the country’s largest pharmacy networks.
myTWC is TerryWhite Chemmart’s loyalty program. The myTWC program is entirely digital, and customers can join for free by downloading the mobile app and creating an account. You can shop online via the app and have your order delivered or prepared in-store for click-and-collect. Plus, members will earn three points for $1 spent, which can be redeemed for in-store purchases. Of course, points don’t apply to prescription items. You’ll also receive a yearly birthday discount for being a member, plus bonus points on selected promotional items.
The myTWC app also allows members to order eScripts, view digital receipts and even manage the medications of family members or individuals in their care. This pharmacy loyalty program is one of the most comprehensive out there, so it’s worth joining to access its convenient benefits.
Guardian Pharmacy loyalty program: Guardian Club
Guardian Pharmacy’s distinct blue and orange branding can be found nationwide. And with over 150 locations across Australia, members of Guardian Pharmacy’s loyalty program, Guardian Club, have plenty of options when it comes to earning and redeeming points
For every $1 you spend in-store – excluding prescriptions – you’ll earn one point. Once you’ve amassed 250 points, you’ll receive $5 off your next purchases simply by swiping your membership card. You can join the Guardian Club in-store at any participating Guardian Pharmacy. As of yet, there is no mobile app or online members’ portal, but you’ll receive a monthly email that outlines your rewards.
Alliance Pharmacy loyalty program: Healthy Rewards
Alliance Pharmacy is a network of local, independent pharmacies across Australia. Each pharmacy caters to the individual needs of the community, so its offerings vary slightly.
But when you purchase non-prescription items, you can earn rewards through Alliance Pharmacy’s Healthy Rewards program. There’s the potential to earn points, as well as access to member-exclusive prizes and giveaways at participating pharmacies.
