What is Myer One?
Myer One is the loyalty program of the Myer department stores in Australia. Membership is free, and once you join, you’ll be able to earn credits when shopping in-store or online.
For every $1 you spend at Myer, you’ll earn 2 credits. Once you reach 1,000 credits, you’ll receive a $10 voucher (or ‘reward’) to spend in-store or online. This means you’ll need to spend $1,000 to get a $20 reward, and you’re effectively getting 2% back on every purchase.
How do I join Myer One?
Here are the steps to become a Myer One member.
- Navigate to the Myer One registration page.
- Enter your temporary Myer One card details, if applicable.
- Fill out the rest of your personal details.
- You are now a member of Myer’s loyalty program.
Myer One membership levels
For the big spenders out there, Myer’s rewards program has four membership tiers. Your tier is determined by your total spend between 1 April to 31 March annually, which is the membership year of the program.
Here are the benefits you can expect from each level of Myer One.
Myer One Member: 0-$1,499 annual spend
- Earn 2 credits per $1 spent at Myer
- Convert 1,000 credits to a $10 reward

Myer One Silver: $1,500-$5,999 annual spend
All the benefits of Member, plus:

- $15 anniversary reward
- In-store gift wrapping
- Free standard delivery
Myer One Platinum: By invitation only
The program’s highest level, Platinum, is invitation-only. You’ll receive all the benefits of previous tiers, plus:
- $30 birthday reward
- $25 anniversary reward
- Free big and bulky delivery
- Discovery set by Myer One
Note that in order to receive birthday and anniversary rewards, you must provide a valid email address while signing up. For birthday rewards, you must be a Myer One member for at least a month prior to your birthday, and spend a minimum of $30 each year.
Myer One points are generally credited to your account within 24 hours of your online order being ready for delivery, or within 30 days for in-store transactions.
Redeeming Myer One rewards
Every 1,000 Myer One credits you collect will be automatically converted to a $10 Myer One reward at the end of each quarter. The reward will be added to your account, and you’ll receive an email to notify you.
To redeem your reward, simply present your card in-store (or provide your phone number to the cashier to bring up your account), and you’ll be asked if you want to use your reward.
Alternatively, to use your reward online, ensure you’re logged into your account and follow the prompts during checkout.
Myer One rewards have an expiry date of one year from the date of issue.
Myer One app
Instead of logging onto the Myer website to check your rewards, you can download the Myer One app for iOS or Android. Here, you can monitor your credit balance, membership level, your order status, and even update your personal details so you don’t miss out on your next birthday or anniversary reward.
Other ways to earn rewards when shopping at Myer
If you shop at Myer regularly, joining their loyalty program is a great way to earn extra perks. But, there are some additional ways to boost your rewards.
1. Qantas Shopping
The Qantas Shopping portal awards Qantas Points when you shop online with major retailers, like Myer. Ensure you’re logged into your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, then simply click through to the Myer website via Qantas Shopping to track your purchase.
The standard earn rate is 2 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases, but keep an eye out for bonus point offers.
2. Velocity e-Store
If you’d rather earn Velocity Points instead, you can use the Velocity e-Store. Like Qantas Shopping, Velocity e-Store is a portal that tracks your purchase and awards Velocity Points based on spend. You’ll need to log into your Velocity Frequent Flyer account, click through to the Myer website via Velocity e-Store and complete your purchase as usual.
The standard earn rate is 2 Velocity Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases, with the Velocity e-Store occasionally offering bonus points.
3. Use a points-earning credit card
Double-dip on your rewards by paying for your purchase using a credit card that earns points. Certain credit cards, like the NAB Rewards Business Signature, offer bonus points on eligible spend at major department stores in Australia, including Myer. Leveraging a points-earning credit card, like the one below, can also help you maximise your points from your everyday spend.
Summing up
Myer One is a reasonably rewarding program with shining benefits for those who spend regularly at the department store. Even for occasional shoppers, there isn’t any reason not to swipe your card in-store or enter your details online when you shop. Those purchases can add up to a reward voucher, and you may also be eligible to receive a birthday voucher.
The $1,500 threshold for Myer One Silver membership isn’t too far-fetched, especially if you’re in the market for big-ticket items like a new TV, or you’re gift shopping for a loved one. Having a Myer One membership means you won’t miss out on those points-earning opportunities.
