TripAdvisor is trying to ramp up the number of reviews it has on its Arabic-language site, with this promotion offering between 75 and 150 Etihad Guest Miles per review posted.
And independently, German-based hotel site HolidayCheck.de offers 200 airberlin topbonus miles for hotel reviews (which I assume should be in German). topbonus miles, if you can earn enough of them, can be used for flight redemptions on both Virgin Australia and Qantas.

airberlin topbonus miles with Holidaycheck.de
Holiday Check used to run holidaycheck.com and offer miles for english language reviews. Given the .com now advises Holiday Check doesn’t run in English anymore, I assume this is now no longer the case.
That said, if you can write german reviews of any hotels you’ve stayed at, you can pick up 200 topbonus miles for each review, or 100 Lufthansa Miles & More miles. I can’t tell if there’s a cap – if you find one please let us know in the comments.
Tripadvisor & Etihad Guest Miles
Let’s make this one clear – reviews must be in Arabic.
You will earn:
- 150 miles for a review of a hotel
- 75 miles for a review of a restaurant
- 75 miles for a review of an attraction
How to obtain the maximum miles
There is a maximum earn of 1500 miles per month, of which 600 miles (or four reviews) can be of hotels.
So if you want to reach that per month maximum, you could either write:
- 4 hotel and 12 restaurant/attraction reviews; or
- 20 restaurant/attraction reviews
You can submit multiple reviews of the same place, but have to wait three months in between reviews for hotels and attractions, and one month for restaurants.
Etihad Guest Miles will be credited within six weeks of posting a review.
It seems like this promotion does not currently have an expiration date.
بالتوفيق (good luck!)
