For one week, collect up to 20x bonus Everyday Rewards points on Apple gift cards. This is an excellent opportunity to earn the equivalent of 10 Qantas Points per dollar on Apple products.

  • Fixed denomination cards: limit of ten cards per member per day.
  • Variable load cards: limit of ten cards per member per day.

Check the latest Woolworths catalogue in your area for more details.

Example: points earned with a 10x or 20x bonus:

For offers with a 10x bonus points component, here are some examples of the points you can earn (subject to the weekly limits):

    • $50 gift card: 500 Everyday Rewards Points (worth $2.5 or 250 Qantas Points).

    • $100 gift card: 1,000 Everyday Rewards Points (worth $5 or 500 Qantas Points).

    • $200 gift card: 2,000 Everyday Rewards Points (worth $10 or 1,000 Qantas Points).

    • $500 gift card: 5,000 Everyday Rewards Points (worth $25 or 2,200 Qantas Points).

For offers with a 20x bonus points component, here are some examples of the points you can earn (subject to the weekly limits):

Example: what you can do with bonus points:

Let’s say you’ve earned 40,000 Everyday Rewards points. That’s easily worth $200 at the checkout, or 20,000 Qantas Points – more than enough for a free domestic Economy or Business Class reward seat on certain routes (plus taxes).

    • Perth-Hobart one-way in Economy (18,000 pts + taxes).

    • Brisbane-Darwin one-way in Economy (18,000 pts + taxes).

    • Adelaide-Melbourne one-way in Business (18,400 pts + taxes).

The cheapest Qantas reward flight is 8,000 points + taxes (converted from 16,000 Everyday Rewards points). You’ll need to buy at least $800 of gift cards to have enough Qantas Points for a reward flight.

Woolworths supermarket promotions

Want to earn more Everyday Rewards points on groceries? Woolworths also has lots of in-supermarket promotions, which generally offer between 2,000 to 6,000 Everyday Rewards points at a time. These points can really stack up, so keep an eye out for these offers in your emails. Check your app for Boosters.

You can read more about Woolworths’ supermarket promotions in our guide to earning Everyday Rewards points.

Summing up

Even though Everyday Rewards doesn’t have many partners, Woolworths still manages to offer plenty of opportunities to earn bonus points through promotions. Points can be earned at the supermarket and with some of Woolworths’ ancillary products such as car and home/contents insurance.

Recurring shopping offers are the best way to regularly top-up your balance, while offers on insurance will give you a sizeable boost once in a while when you’re switching over as a new customer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I earn bonus Everyday Rewards points?

Keep an eye on your email as that’s how many of Woolworth’s shopping promotions are released. If you have the Woolworths shopping app, some Rewards-related promotions may appear there too. Make sure to click the ‘Activate’ button before using a promotion.

Sign-up bonus points are also offered on some products such as insurance. This guide will have the latest details on these offers.

What happens if I forget my Everyday Rewards card?

If you forgot your Everyday Rewards card while shopping and haven’t got it stored in Apple Wallet or Google Play, try downloading the Everyday Rewards app and logging in. It will display a barcode you can scan. It’s best to do this if you’re chasing a bonus offer.

Alternatively, you can give the Everyday Rewards team a call at 1300 101 234 within 7 days of purchase to have the base points of your shop added to your account as a once-off. Note that only the base points from your purchase will be added – no bonus points from any eligible offers on your account.

How much are Everyday Rewards points worth?

It’s hard to pin down a value for Everyday Rewards points, as that depends on what you use them for. As a base number, 2,000 Everyday Rewards points is equal to $10 off at Woolworths, so that’s 0.5 cents a point.

Say you had 16,000 Everyday Rewards points and converted them to 8,000 Qantas Points, then used those points to redeem a short regional flight normally worth $250. Then you’ve just scored yourself 1.6 cents of value per Everyday Rewards point.

Given 16,000 Everyday Rewards points are worth $80 at the supermarket, if you instead redeemed them for a short Qantas flight costing more than $80 (which most flights usually do), then you’ll come out ahead!

  1. Wow…removed my comment about the 20 Wollies point TCN gift cards and updated your page instead, so didn’t look like you missed it? Had more respect for the site.

    1. Hi RB, thanks for alerting us. We did update the article after your tip but it seems the original comment was later flagged by a spam filter as we get lots of bots posting to these offers pages. I’ve unflagged it and apologise for the mix-up.

  2. 20 woolies points on TCN cards Him, Shop, Baby, Kids and Party, and the GoodFood card.
Available 23-29 Oct 2024, on all denominations. Limit of 10 cards, rest of conditions cutoff in catalogue viewer.

  3. Interesting, it’s swapped from Woolies to Big W for a week – 14-20 Feb same offer was running at Woolies, but I didn’t see it covered anywhere, so perhaps it was targeted. Either way, was an ideal time to pick up $3k worth of gift cards, and 30k QF towards renewing PC+.

  4. I can’t find any gift cards with 20x points promotion at the moment. Ive looked on Woolies AND Rewards apps, in my local store and on the Ultimate gift cards site. Is it a regional promotion?

    1. Hi, this offer is in the catalogue (page 9 of the ones I’ve checked, WA and VIC) and also on in-store signage. It won’t appear on the apps or on the Ultimate website. Have you checked the local catalogue for your area?

      1. Hi Isabelle, I can’t confirm that individually. It should be a nationwide offer (I’m not aware of any geographical exclusions) but check your local catalogue and in-store signage on the gift card aisle to confirm.

    1. Hi Vickey, there’s no set schedule for when offers like this run, but they can pop up from time to time. When they do, we endeavour to cover them, so stay tuned – and keep your eyes peeled in store, too.

  5. Are you able to pre-load the $4,999 onto your apple account and use that as well as 8x gift cards on the same transaction?

  6. Hi Everyone
The bonus points offer is great and works like a charm as far as earning the bonus reward points goes. The bonus points for my purchases were credited almost immediately. Just be aware that Woolworths has made some changes to the purchase/transaction limits on the gift card purchases.
Coming to the tricky side of it, I bought a bunch of gift cards from Woolworths and 3 gift cards didn’t work (redemption). I contacted Apple support and then Woolworths store – I am now left with an ‘under investigation’ complaint with Woolworths Gift Card support team and then a support case with Apple gift card support team. I don’t want to go into too many details but Woolworths hasn’t taken the responsibility, yet, for the invalid/voided Apple gift cards (even though Apple confirmed the redemption codes on these cards were voided/used last year – almost 12 months before I purchased them from Woolworths). Apple support team have promised to do their best – still waiting to hear back from them. I don’t mean to scare off anyone from making the best of this offer but just wanted to make a point of the risks involved.

  7. From my experience Woolworths is running this like a scam – on both of the last 2 rounds of these offers my points were never credited and I had to make long 45 – 60 minute calls to their call centre. They claim that the points would be on the account up top 14 business days after date of purchase but in both instances I had nothing up to 3o business days! Buyer beware.

    1. I understand this does happen to a few people. It’s never been a problem for me though, as the bonus points show up on the checkout screen before I pay, so I know it’s confirmed. Strange how it doesn’t work with everyone, though.

      1. just ;purchased $100 apple gift card through Big W (June6). says card takes 48 hours to activate, no sign of the bonus points yet. Did it though manned checkout so never saw the screen that shows the points. Hopefully will show up after 24 hours.

  8. Hi Brandon, love your work. Regarding the Woolworths Gift Cards, do you actually get the Everyday Reward Points when you spend the gift cards. In other words, suppose that Woolies are offering 10x points on your total shop, and you use a $100 gift card to purchase $100 of groceries. Would you get 1000 Everyday Reward points for that shop? Or would you earn zero points on the basis that ER points were already earned when gift cards were purchased?

    1. I always pay with Woolie gift cards as I get them from Entertainment card offer at 4% off. I can confirm that you do earn ER points when paying with gift cards.

I do not think you would earn ER points when purchasing Woolie gift cards though, except when they are doing campaigns where you are awarded say 1,000 points. Have seen a couple of those in the past few months but were never eligible for them when going through the Entertainment card platform.

  9. Bought Restaurant gift cards at Woolworths 9 days ago. Still waiting for the reward points and to make things worse the gift cards were not accepted by the restaurant (maybe because they were using Square for payments).

  10. I got the Apple gift card 20x bonus a couple of weeks back so went to see if the offer on AirBnB cards (as shown in the image in the story) were available at Big W today (Sep 5 2023). We’ve got a european trip coming up so 10x QFF on a $1.5K spend would come in handy. Unfortunately these don’t seem to be in the current fathers day catalogue. It surprised me how hard it was to check this at the service counter, the staff seem to have no way of finding out which cards have the boost so check those catalogs before you chuck em in the recycle

    1. udpdate – the offer is only available at Woolworths grocery stores, not Big W. Unfortunately the staff at Woollies, while very helpful couldn’t confirm this while I was there. (Funny story, she tried searching for it on the net and the first thing that came up was the Point Hacks website which she thought was the official Everyday Rewards site :-). Going back tomorrow (last day) to load up on AirBnB cards

  11. Took advantage of the Big W 20x points on apple gift cards this weekend. We planned to buy a couple of new iphones in the next couple of months and picked up 4x$500 variable load gift cards. 20k Qantas points after conversion for a purchase we had planned anyway. Great tip off pointhacks! The staff at the store didn’t even know of the deal but sure enough the points hit straight away.

  12. Do you know if buying these gift cards with Virgin Flyer Visa card will count towards my minimum spend for signup bonus?

  13. 10x Everyday Rewards points with EFTPOS gift cards
Expiry: From 9 March 2022 to close of business, 15 March 2022

I am unable to find this offer anywhere. Where can i find the promotion and terms and conditions. etc

    1. Hi Sandra, it was on Page 35 of the WA Woolworths catalogue (may be different for other states). But it’s in the catalogue.

  14. Hi everyone, just wondering how often these offers come up. Is it a once-per-year type offer or something more regular? I haven’t really had an interest in Apple products until recently so haven’t paid much interest to past offers & now that this one has expired I am wondering whether I sit tight & wait for another or just go & make the purchase if it isn’t likley there will be another one soon.

  15. I’m unsure if the 20K reward points for Woolworths Insurance is still on offer. However, for example I purchased Woolworths Home & Contents a couple of years ago and received 20K points and still have the same policy in place. Would this make me ineligible for the 20K bonus points on offer with car insurance?

  16. Where is the 30x rewards on Apple gift cards advertised? I don’t see it anywhere on the Everyday Rewards or Woolworths websites.

    1. I couldn’t find the info online either – however, if you go to a Woolworths store you’ll see the point of sale materials with the offer and terms – I took a photo for reference. The points were credited almost immediately upon purchase of the vouchers.

  17. If using Apple vouchers – you may be able to stack by accessing the Apple store via the Qantas online mall (currently 2 points per dollar)

  18. Safeway’s won’t ‘point stack’ or point multiply like Coles will. If you have more than one policy, signup with a family member’s Everyday Rewards card and you can get that 10% off more than once a month 🙂

  19. Mandurah BigW wouldn’t let me purchase $1200 of gift cards “for my own safety” whatever that means. Very frustrating.

    1. Yep – I bought some Apple vouchers in one Woolworths store, but it took some sweet talking with the store manager to convince him that I wasn’t victim to some sort of scam (buying vouchers to pay off some nefarious elements) – the floor staff initially insisted on just $200 worth – the manager relented to the tune of $1200 worth – had to go to another store for the balance. The other store staff members just satisfied themselves that I was aware of the existence of scams and fairly readily sold $1500 worth (floor staff consulted manger by phone to authorise the sale). Thankfully it all worked out and one new pimped up M1 Mac Mini arrived two days ago…

  20. Got to be a little bit careful with the Woolies car insurance – they are “agreed value” policies, and seem to run on straight Redbook values. The used car market has changed significantly in the last 12 months (for some reason), and Redbook isn’t really keeping up. Do some research on their provided value and make sure it lines up to what you would spend to replace your car.

  21. Please check your facts, Evin, before publishing these offers – as far as I can tell you can only use up to 8 Apple Gift Cards for a given Apple purchase – in that case your example of using 10 cards of $200 apiece to buy a phone is potentially misleading and could seriously mess somebody up expecting to pay for an expensive piece of hardware on gift vouchers 😉

    1. Hi Platy, thanks for your feedback – it’s very appreciated! I’ve gone and made the edits to make our example work (using variable load to buy gift cards up to $500 so only 4x is required in this example, or adding the gift card balance to your Apple Account Balance in advance).

      1. @ Brandon – great work! Thanks to the article I was able to purchase a total of $2,700 worth of vouchers ready for my new Mac 27 inch. I had to split the purchase over two Woolworth stores since they managers are nervous of selling the cards in case of scams. The 41,000 QF points are already in my QF account! Also the credit card points to come. It’s been a good week – on top of that I reached the $1,000 in 90 day spend for the 100,000 QF points bonus on my new business BP account for fuel I’d be buying anyway!

      2. Hey guys I can’t find anything on the everyday rewards site or Woolworths confirming the details of 30x rewards on Apple gift cards – would you mind posting a link to them?
        Thanks
