Qantas Double Status Credits (or points) are back for Paris flights

Qantas’ popular loyalty offer of the year is back, but this time it’s only for flights to Paris with a limited travel window.

Double Status Credits is always one of Qantas’ most popular offers, as Status Credits are the key to unlocking Qantas and oneworld partner airline status perks. Doing it with effectively half the required flying means you can reach those goals twice as fast.

Qantas ‘Double Status Credits or Points’ – November 2026

Expiry: Book before 11:59pm AEDT, 9 November 2026

To take advantage of this deal, register for the offer on the Qantas website first. You need to pick either double Qantas Points or Status Credits, but you can change your selection until the booking window closes.

Make one or more new Qantas bookings on only QF-operated flights to/from Paris between 3 November 2026 and 11:59 pm AEDT on 9 November 2026. Travel dates are between 18 January 2027 and 22 March 2027.

What flights are eligible?

For this offer in particular, your outbound flights to Paris must be QF33 or QF255. Your inbound flights can be QF34 or QF256 from Paris, or QF2 or QF10 from London, as long as it’s on the same ticket. Any domestic Qantas connecting flights on the same ticket will also count.

What flights are NOT eligible?

Important: other partner airline and codeshare flights, including those operated by Emirates, Jetstar and other partner airlines, do NOT count.

For this QBR offer, you are also not eligible if your principal place of business is outside Australia, have a corporate airfare agreement or discount, are a travel agent or wholesaler, or are travelling for Commonwealth purposes.

Bonus Status Credits earned from this offer do not count towards the Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus Reward, or Status Accelerator/Challenge earn requirements. They should count towards Lifetime status.

1. Hello Mr Brandon
   In regards to the QBR Double Status, there is one more note for ineligible flights buried in the t&c ,which is leisure travel. From experience, booking a Fly+Stay package in Qantas Holiday did not accumulate points for the QBR, even when adding ABN post booking. This could potentially could affect DSC earning but I am not game to test it.

2. Hi Brandon – do you know if the Double Status Credits apply when booking a QF marked ticket but on an Emirates flight – specifically Sydney to Christchurch in First Class. Paid ticket not points so the flight number is shown as QF and not EK.

3. Hi Brandon (or anyone else who might know),

   What do you think about this situation: I booked on 24 February because of this promotion, but only registered a few hours later – stupid, I just forgot. Reading the T&C’s, my interpretation is that this should still be OK, but the person at the call centre, after conferring with colleagues said no. She also said I should lodge a complaint to get the double points/credits anyway. Incredibly inefficient, I would think:-)

4. Hi Brandon, does the offer for Double Status credits apply for Status Credits received as a Points Club member for Reward Flights booked (either Classic or Plus)?

5. Last time this ran, they excluded reward flights booked using points from receiving double status (which obviously you can only get if you are also a Points Club member). They are silent on this subject this time. Have they gone back to Double Status for Reward Flights again?

      More disappointingly I had been using POINT HACKS article that now appears to have been taken down, as a guidewhere the author got green tier, points club and did double point status run to achieve gold from no points (i had done some flying and thought this was my chance to get gold and spend points on around the world for family always been bronze and struggled to get seats in pairs). If your right and the double points weren’t there last year I just paid up for some wine that will just be Christmas presents for next few years for no reason as business return to nz now 120 not 360.

6. Does this offer contribute to Lifetime status credits? In the article you indicate it does but in the Q&A you indicate otherwise “
   Do bonus Status Credits count towards Lifetime Status?
   Not anymore. Previous promotions have included this, but the current promotion (as of August 2025) does not”
