20% off and triple IHG One Rewards points on stays

For a limited time, IHG Hotels & Resorts is offering a tempting winter offer of 20% off hotel stays across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. You’ll also earn triple points in your IHG One Rewards account if you book by 28 May. Over 100 properties are participating in this offer.

IHG 20% off and triple points

The winter offer consists of two parts: the 20% discount and the triple points. Book by 11 June 2024 to take advantage of the 20% discount on the ‘Book Now, Pay Later’ rate.

The ‘triple IHG One Rewards points offer’ is an early bird special. Book by 10 am AEST on 28 May 2024 to earn triple points in addition to the 20% off.

Both offers are valid on stays up to 30 September 2024 at participating hotels in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, South Pacific, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

IHG Gold Elite status via Virgin Business Flyer

IHG Business Edge usually offers Silver Elite status to new members after their first stay. But for a limited time, members who sign up for IHG Business Edge via their Virgin Australia Business Flyer account will receive an upgrade to Gold Elite status instead after their first stay.

Gold Elite status includes late check-out of 2pm (subject to availability), 40% more points when you travel yourself, and rollover of excess elite nights to the following year.

Although IHG uses dynamic pricing, IHG points are generally a good way to redeem reward rooms, as there are no additional fees to pay in most cases. Some rooms start from 10,000 points a night, though most mid-range hotels will cost around 20-30,000 points a night.
