If you haven’t gotten around to retaining your Hilton Honors Silver, Gold or Diamond status, then you might be in luck. Under the ‘Tier Last Call 2023’ promotion, Hilton Honors may throw you a lifeline to retain your status with just one stay.
We update this Hilton Honors promotions guide with the latest offers as they come out. For specials with purchasing Hilton Honors points, see our dedicated guide to ‘Hilton Buy Points Promotions’.
Hilton Honors ‘Tier Last Call 2023’ offer
Expiry: 31 March 2023 |
If you’ve been targetted for ‘Tier Last Call 2023’, then all you need to do is complete one stay before 31 March 2023 to maintain your current tier, unless the offer advises otherwise.
You can check if you’re eligible by checking out the ‘My Offers’ page while logged in. Under ‘Active offers’, you may see ‘Tier Last Call 2023 Promotion’.

Note that the T&Cs mention you need to have received an email to be eligible for the offer. While we haven’t received any communication from Hilton yet, there are reports from readers on other websites that you can call Hilton and double-check your eligibility before booking a stay.

Double points on all stays + 1,000 bonus points when you stay at different brands
Expiry: 30 April 2023 |
For all stays until 30 April 2023, Hilton Honors members who activate the promotion will be able to rake in double points. If you have a stay that would usually earn you 20,000 points, you could earn 40,000 points instead!
Plus, you’ll get an extra 1,000 bonus points for each stay you complete at a different brand within the Hilton portfolio.

The extra points will be helpful for those who want to redeem Hilton Honors points for stays at hotels – these also count towards status qualification.
If you’re able to travel, it’s a no-brainer to take advantage of this deal if possible. Just activate the offer through this link and complete your stays before 30 April 2023.
Summing Up
These are both great Hilton Honors promotions to take advantage of if you’re travelling around Australia or overseas. Earning double points means you can book reward nights sooner. And if you’re Silver, Gold or Diamond status is due to be downgraded, then ‘Tier Last Call 2023’ might just be the lifeline you need.

I reached out to a chat support agent and got the reply “As I can check you are registered for the promotion and its states that you have to complete 1 more stay, but I will suggest you to confirm it from our Hilton Honors desk 1-800-548-8690 for further clearification [sic].”
I called the HH desk and was given a firm “You need to receive the email to be eligible, even if it shows the active offer on your profile”.
I’ve taken screenshots and I might try my luck anyway.
Yeah – and some are reporting 2 nights needed for Gold retention…the inconsistency is perplexing…!
…if readers can see the offer in “active” status in their accounts of the tier promo (as nicely explained above), one option is to check with a live agent per the chat facility that the offer:
– Is actually active for that account
– That only one night is needed
Screen copying the chat can provide back up in case of problems later!
IME the tracker for status changed over from Gold to Platinum once I had booked the requisite stay (noting I booked in the morning for a stay that night) rather than completing the stay actual stay.
Obviously there’s the prudent option to sign up for the other current double point promos before making the stay!
FWIW the math on that one stay:
Cost – $250
Points earned (stacked promotions) – 6764
Potential redemption value (at an aspirational property) – c. $150 to $175
Upgraded room – about $100 double step up from base king to executive king
Lounge and breakfast benefits honoured
Platinum secured for another year rather than soft landing to Gold…..;)
(OT: some first class ANA awards between Tokyo and SFO are currently bookable on Krisflyer miles (among others) around April/May/early June 2023)
I cant find any information that this works, has it worked for anyone?
