If you’re in need of a Business Class (or in First, in which case, how do I get to be you?) fare to the middle East or Europe (for travel in the next couple of months, then this may sway your decision to choose Etihad over others. They are offering triple Etihad Guest miles for travel in Business Class, and Quadruple for travel in First.
The offer is value for bookings by 20th June, for travel from May 5th to 30th June, and to take part you’ll need to have your ticket issued by Etihad (bookings through travel agents count) and ensure your Etihad Guest number is on the booking.
In the examples Etihad give with this offer, they claim it’s possible to earn over 100,000 bonus miles with one flight – if you’re flying First Class to Europe for example.
Just imagine what you could do with the bonus miles that you earn. For instance, when you travel between Sydney and London on a return ticket in Diamond First Class, you can earn up to 157,176 miles*. This is sufficient miles to redeem up to two free return Business Class tickets between Sydney and Melbourne, or redeem a free one-way Pearl Business Class ticket between Sydney and Abu Dhabi.
The offer page on the Etihad website is here, and the promotion is only open to Etihad Guest members with an Australian address in their account. There are no bonuses available for travel in Economy.
The offer is pretty specific but worth knowing about if you’re considering a booking in Business or First in the next couple of months.
