So I cancelled my membership (expire at the end of the month – such good timing) and signed up with a new email address and you can still use your name and address.
That’s the loophole
Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa has been loved by the Accor Plus member community since opening on Denarau Island in Fiji in late 2005. Always committed to providing an outstanding guest experience, the resort has undergone a substantial refurbishment and evolution in recent years.

Given the significant level of investment, not wishing to compromise on quality and service and the dynamic environment in which the hospitality industry operates, it has been necessary to reconsider some of the Accor Plus member benefits at the resort. I was already an Accor member. Im wondering how long my membership upgrade lasts for?
All I get is a brief view of a form of some sort, quickly replaced by a “Sorry something went wrong” notice.
This is pretty consistent with Accor’s usual shambolic account-linking stuff, though.
Worse is that Accor provide no mechanism to actually make contact about this, no webform, no phone number, circular webpage links designed to frustrate their customers into giving up.
