How do you book Europe flights through VA? The only port showing in their search for UK & Europe is LGW?
Just tried to book special price ($90) flights from Adelaide to GC for two – I expected the the price to be 4×90=360, the website price is $574. No wonder I fly Qantas!!!!!
Have booked 5 family members from MEL – OOL return in the July school holidays for $790 all up.

Hi Jarre, as we reported previously, Virgin’s Business Class is still being overhauled and is due to relaunch in the next month or two. The snack boxes are temporary and fingers crossed there’ll be a better offering by then!
Also, VA’s business class fares on the SYD-BNE route currently start from $449 when on sale, and are $599-$799 when sale fares are gone. Qantas is at least $900 on any given day, so there’s that difference to take into account too, when looking at inclusions.
Flew to Tassie and back last week. Economy X on the way down and economy on the way back.
So good to have VA back.
The drinks were great (juice or water) but the snack was some vegan protein ball thing unfortunately (massive fat grams and not a particularly good taste for all those calories).
Pity that the 1% have to ruin snacks for the 99% – whatever happened to a bag of chips or nuts?
Regardless, it was a pleasure to see the smiling hosties and fly on the mostly politically incorrect skies 🙂

What’s the point in cheaper business class upgrades if there’s no food served or lounge access? I have a long 7 hour layover in Brisbane airport and will just have to find a comfortable seat in the cafe area
