When travel eventually resumes, chances are you’ll want to add some interesting activities to your itinerary. Qantas Frequent Flyer is partnered with US-based company Viator to offer 1 Qantas Points per dollar spent on tours and activities.

Options could include anything from a private street food tour in Asia, tickets to skip the line at a major attraction, or a local island getaway.

How do I earn Qantas Points with Viator?

  1. Head to the Qantas Activities booking page.
  2. Enter your destination and the dates you’ll be there.
  3. Find your desired activity and check for availability.
  4. Once you’re ready to book, proceed to the checkout and enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to collect points.

You will pocket 1 Qantas Point per $1 AUD spent on activities. Foreign currencies will be converted to AUD by Qantas with the daily rate for the purpose of earning points.

Can I earn Qantas Points on other tours and activities?

While Qantas Activities remains the sole way to earn points on standard tours and activities, there are other more bespoke partnerships that you could take advantage of, if you’re looking for an all-inclusive holiday.

Earn 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent at:

Alternatively, earn 2 Qantas Points per $1 spent at APT Holidays — or if skiing is your thing, earn 2,000 Qantas Points per package with Skimax Holidays around the world.

To earn with these travel providers, visit the linked partner pages and hit the ‘Earn Points Now’ button. Be sure to review the terms and conditions when purchasing, and enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer number when prompted.

Summing Up

Qantas Frequent Flyer unsurprisingly has many tour and activity partners, as it’s naturally the next thing you would look at booking after flights and accommodation. If you’re looking to purchase a travel package, make sure to shop around as usual and maximise your points-earning possibilities.

After all, if you’re going to drop thousands of dollars on some indulgent travel, why not get thousands of Qantas Points back in the process?
