Accor Plus rebadges to ALL Accor+ Explorer with major changes to perks

Some perks get better, but others are being trimmed back.

Accor Plus is getting a makeover, and as always, there are winners and losers. From 1 October 2025, the program will relaunch as ALL Accor+ Explorer, bringing a fresh name, a lower price tag, and a reshuffled suite of benefits.

Existing members will also transition over to the new program from that date. But while some perks are getting a boost, others are being scaled back. Here’s everything you need to know.

What does ALL Accor+ Explorer include?

While ALL Accor+ Explorer retains most of the existing benefits in Accor Plus, there are some significant changes. From 1 October 2025, new and existing members will have:

  • Two Stay Plus free nights each year across Asia Pacific (note: now requires a two-night minimum booking)
  • Up to 50% off Red Hot Rooms at select hotels in Asia Pacific
  • 15% off public rates at over 4,500 Accor hotels globally
  • Dining discounts: 30% off food and 15% off drinks across Asia Pacific properties
  • Instant ALL Accor Gold Status with 30 bonus Status Nights credited annually
Accor Live Limitless Diamond
Members will receive a 30 Status Night bonus, which grants Gold status (or helps reach higher status tiers).

What’s new and what’s gone

While the headline perks look appealing, existing members will notice a few key changes:

FeaturePreviousNew
Stay Plus Nights1 Stay Plus night per year that can be redeemed for a completely free night2 Stay Plus nights per year that must be used as part of a two-night minimum booking
Dining DiscountUp to 50% off food30% off food, 15% off drinks
Complimentary StatusSilver (with 20 bonus nights)Gold (with 30 bonus nights)
Annual Fee in Australia$399$349

The drop in annual fee is welcome, but the reduced flexibility on free nights and dining may be a drawback for some.

According to Accor Plus CEO Emilie Couton, the program changes have come about after 18 months of feedback from travellers and team members. ‘ALL Accor+ Explorer is a strategic enhancement built for discerning travellers who want more than perks,’ she says.

Point Hacks reached out to ask for more clarification about the transition for existing members after 1 October 2025. A spokesperson for Accor Plus confirmed that existing Stay Plus bookings will be honoured. Unused Stay Plus credits will convert at a rate of 1 to 2 (i.e. one existing Stay Plus will convert to two Stay Plus credits, which will have the new two-night booking minimum attached).

Members planning to continue after 1 October 2025 will receive the bonus 30 Status Nights credit after renewal and payment of the new membership fee.

The ALL Accor+ Explorer dining benefit will be capped at 30% off.

Is ALL Accor+ Explorer still worth it?

For frequent Accor guests, there are some positive changes overall, including the lower annual fee and higher bonus Status Nights credit. If you’re usually booking stays of two nights or more anyway, then the doubling of the Stay Plus free night credit will likely save you more money in the long run.

But if you’re a more casual user who primarily relies on the standalone free night and the deeper 50% dining discount, it’s worth weighing the trade-offs before renewing.

Over to you – what are your thoughts on the ALL Accor+ Explorer membership?

  1. Is there an equalisation for status points re the gifted status nights? I find it better to achieve platinum through points than nights??

  2. Free night for the most expensive of the two nights is excellent.

    IHG Ambassador
    * You can only book Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun
    * Availability very limited, almost impossible to get Intercontinental Sydney, unless book months in advance like Qantas Classic Award flights
    * The second night free, which can be cheapest if booking Sat/Sun i.e. in this combination you have to pay Saturday night, which is the more expensive night.

  3. Seriously rethinking my renewal. We like one night stays at hotels such as Sofitel Collins St and Pullman on the Park. We stay to celebrate special occasions. As we live only 15km from those hotels, we don’t particularly want to stay more than a single night. If we use that 2 night stay at somewhere like Sebel Forest apartments (Creswick) then we don’t get as much value as that complex is relatively inexpensive. We can’t use the 2 nights when we travel OS because we go to Greece and UK. Also….. it’s mostly just the two of us dining so we lose out then too. It’s rare we are dining with others. So…. I’m having second thoughts and in the meantime, we’ve joined RACV Club at the top tier and get HEAPS of great benefits which make the $2500 membership price well worth it.

  4. As a casual user I may opt out. However on the plus side- dining discount now applies to a whole table (max 10p) which is better than having to stack cards IMO

  5. So how does this affect the current Gold membership that is aligned to Amex Platinum. If I am correct everyone now gets Gold? There is no mention of current Gold benefits such as welcome drinks or guaranteed room upgrade (subject to availability).

  6. You may want to check on the benefits for platinum members, from what I read they have moved the complimentary breakfast to the highest membership tier. This was a major goal for achieving this tier but now I’d rather stay at Gold tier.

  7. “Accor Live Limitless Accor Plus Explorer”

Accor could learn a thing or two about the inherent beauty and elegance of a simply stated name…eg Hilton Honours and IHG Rewards. Because their current formulation is a steaming pile of….

    1. It’s just Accor Plus Explorer. They’ve dropped the live limitless, even in the free one, it’s now ALL Accor and not Accor Live Limitless.

  8. Does anyone know if you have both Amex Plat and Amex Plat Bus, you are able to sign up for two separate ALL+ memberships (for double the free nights) so as to not waste a perk? I am in that unusual situation.

  9. Wait so do current Accor Plus members retain the 50% dining discounts, or do we all drop down the new 30%? 🙁

    1. The current tiered Accor Plus dining discounts become 30% for 1-10 diners and 10% for 11-20 diners from 1 Oct 2025 for all Accor Plus members.

So as a current member your 50% dining discount for a couple becomes 30% on 1 October 2025. However if you are a current member dining solo, then your 25% discount becomes a 30% discount on 1 October 2025.

    2. Yeah, I received an email congratulating me that I was ‘upgraded’ to explorer, with the 50% gone and now I only get 30%

  10. I don’t think it is a good thing our family has 5 memberships we will drop back to one the free one wirh amex plat

  11. I think the idea with this rebrand/realignment is to harmonise the product with Voyageur in Europe.

15% off base + Signature is amazing value for Europe. I tend to build up my status credits with RHR (no points use allowed) in Australia/SE Asia/Japan and burn points in Europe and South America, so this will be a good way to keep diamond.

  12. “…for discerning travellers who want more than perks…” Really? What is it they want then? An emptier wallet?

  13. Is it still worth chasing Platinum through the Brazil program after all these changes? With Gold now so easily obtainable it seems to really devalue the program and instead just paying for suite night vouchers?

    1. Under the new terms and conditions you won’t be able to stack bonus status nights across memberships. They will only recognise a maximum of 30 bonus status nights across all ALL plus memberships when calculating your membership status.

Platinum still offers benefits over Gold including Suite Night Upgrade(s), Lounge access and complimentary breakfast in Asia-Pacific hotels.

  14. “ALL Accor+ Explorer, bringing a fresh name…”

Fresh? Not so sure about that. Convoluted? I think so. “Accor Plus” is nice and simple. The new name, pronounced in full, would be “Accor Live Limitless Accor Plus Explorer”.

Can you imagine walking into a hotel restaurant and asking if they honour the “Accor Live Limitless Accor Plus Explorer” discount? It’s a horrible mouthful. People will just say “Accor Plus”, which makes the entire rebrand rather moot.

  15. Actually, the 2 free nights is a bit of marketing spin. It’s actually 2 vouchers each allowing for 50% off on a 2 night booking.

    1. More specifically, it is book one night and get one night free. The free night is the more expensive of the two nights.

” To redeem ALL Accor+ Explorer Stay Plus FREE Nights: book at least two consecutive nights – pay for one night, and use your FREE Night for the other
The FREE Night applies to the most expensive night in your booking”

  16. Accorplus changes

It is interesting to note that the member for a day program was abruptly terminated 1/8 without communication to members.

How will the “stacking” of the Brazil membership work for Australian accorplus memberships?

    1. Clause 2.6 of the new terms and conditions is quite clear. They will only recognise a maximum of 30 bonus status nights across all ALL plus memberships. Therefore, stacking won’t work.
