Maximising your Qantas points
As long as you have added your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to your Deliveroo account, you’ll earn a the bonus 1,000 Qantas Points. Ongoing, you’ll earn 200 Qantas Points when you order four or more times in a calendar month.
This means you’ll need to keep track of your order numbers – it’s definitely not worth placing four orders just to earn 200 points, but if you’re one order shy and thinking of eating takeout, maybe it would tip you over the edge.
The points bonus is on top of any credit card bonus points that come from spending on dining, such as three and two points per dollar spent on the Amex Platinum Charge and Citi Premier cards, respectively.

- Step 1: Either download the Deliveroo app for iOS or Android, or head to the Deliveroo website (I found it easier to create an account through the mobile app):
- Step 2: Click on My Account where your name appears:
- Step 3: Enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer details (last names in Deliveroo and Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts must match):

You can also earn Qantas Points using the accommodation service Airbnb, but make sure to click through the Qantas Airbnb portal every time you book rather than going directly to the Airbnb website.
