  1. When scrolling through the Kris+ app today (to see if this is worthwhile) I also notice that the ‘Feast for bonus points’ offer which offers 1500 bonus points when spending a minimum of $150 at certain restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne also. The fine print then says that this offer is ‘stackable’ with the x 10 deal. Does anyone know if this in fact then means you receive 1500 that then converts to 15000 points? That’s well worth chasing if it’s correct! Curious to see if anyone has tried/checked this?

  2. My Heathrow account was suspended by them. I couldn’t log in to the account I had registered, couldn’t reset the password and when I tried using the same email address to try and create another account it said it was in use.
I emailed Heathrow rewards and they said all accounts using enrollment code SQ2019 would be suspended as they had “seen a recent surge in points transfers from accounts using Sq2019”.
They’ll only activate my account if I provide proof of purchases at Heathrow to prove that I am a legitimate customers.
Was worth a try I guess.

    1. Ouch. Sorry to hear that. My 500 miles landed in my KrisFlyer account fine, but damn Heathrow Rewards sounds angry!

  3. I’m joining the “failed attempt” lineup too, 9.19pm Qld, 31 March, after a couple of earlier goes. Didn’t get to the 600: “need another 250”. I too wish I’d read the comments first, not now, though seems rather counter-logical for this sort of task. Lesson learnt! But can we all be getting it wrong?

  4. This is a waste of time. Despite the promo code being entered, only received 100 points. I emailed Heathrow rewards and was told you had to make a purchase at Heathrow to receive the bonus points.

Badly researched article, but I guess I should have checked T+Cs

  5. i wish i had read all the comments before signing up , i followed all the instructions and now only have 100 points ,not enough to transfer to kris Flyer , oh well no easy points this time maybe the next handy hint will pay off.

Anyway its not called point Hacks for nothing not everything works all the time.

    Happy Hacking.

  6. I also joined but on trying to transfer to KrisFlyer, “Order Reward – You need an extra 250 points to redeem for this reward” even though the balance is showing 600 points as per the Pointhacks tip.
    Thoughts?

  7. Same as Bob and Rob. Even with the 600 sign up points the Krisflyer transfer page is saying I need ‘an extra 250 points to redeem this award.’

Not sure why. I clicked on the Points Balance ‘More Details’ and it says “Please note – some point types may not be redeemed for certain rewards.”

I wonder if sign up bonus points are ineligible for transfer to travel partners.

  8. Same issue as Rob – unable to transfer to SQ (or BA for that matter). Maybe they have disabled airline transfers due to the amount of people taking advantage of this?

  9. I tried. On the transfer page it says “You need an extra 250 points to redeem for this reward”. Any suggestions?

  10. Hi, with Heathrow Rewards I’m seeing 600 points on my account but it’s saying that I can’t transfer them to Krisflyer. Any idea why this is?

  11. I would like to join KrisFlyer. Is there an updated code by any chance or another way to get bonus sign up points?

    1. I did some research and unfortunately can’t find any current ones. The latest one was KFLY and it expired on 13 February 2019, but you can always plug that in and see if it still works!

  12. Hi Matt,

Is there a current signup bonus points offer for Krisflyer membership? It’s 14 Feb 2019, so I think the KFLY one has expired. Hoping to sign up my family of 4.
    Cheers,
    Melanie

  13. Morning, just tried to join up via the rego form link and have completed it down until the signup button. Excuse my stupidy but I cant see the promo box to enter the KFLY code. Am I blind?
    Cheers

    1. I just double-checked and it is the very last box on the form. If you are using a mobile device, try it on a desktop instead as the form may be different.

  14. Worked perfectly for me and points showed up hours after signing up. Great start with SQ, as we plan to fly them in 2019.

  15. I just registered for Offer r and after sign up and automatic log in, I see the following :

    WELCOME, (My name)

YOU ARE ON GOLD MANGO STATUS!

Additional 10% on KrisFlyer miles Earned

    KrisFlyer Miles Earned : 0
    KrisFlyer Membership Number : 8817342088
    Total Cashback Earned: RM0.00
    Total Mangoes Earned: 25,000

Krisflyer Miles earned is zero. Do you see them when you sign up or only after 4 to 6 weeks?.

  16. Hmm doesn’t work for me this morning. Not supposed to expire till Friday though, which is a little annoying!

  17. Hi. As far as I can see, if you join as a new member, you can’t just convert the 500 points to 370 Velocity because there is a minimum amount and 500 isn’t enough. So unless you’re intending to fly Singapore Air and accrue more points, it isn’t really worth the whole exercise?

  18. Hi Hayley. My account had expired too when I tried to log-in it told me my account had expired and I had to create a new registration. So I’ve gone ahead and done with using the code. It does issue a new membership number, so perhaps there isn’t a way of reactivating. If you have no points it probably doesn’t matter!

  19. I have a Krisflyer account which is inactive and has no points, I can’t see where I can reactivate my account and receive bonus points using the JOINKF2017 code on their website.
