Singapore Airlines increases London Gatwick flights for Euro summer

More Business Reward seats available with Velocity Points over the summer peak.

Singapore Airlines' Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 Business Class

Singapore Airlines has increased its presence in London to as many as 6 flights per day in the peak summer period. As first flagged by Mainly Miles, flights SQ313 and SQ314 will operate three times a week from 31 March to 24 October, but scale up to daily flights from July to August.

The additional flights are already available, adding some precious Business Class inventory to London. Flights are bookable through Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Virgin Australia Velocity and other select partner programs.

Using Velocity Points for this route

A one-way Business Class reward seat from Singapore to London-Gatwick costs 104,000 Velocity Points plus A$356 per person. Coming back is more expensive due to higher airport charges and the UK’s Air Passenger Duty. Expect to pay 104,000 points + A$806 per person on the way back.

Also note that SQ314 does have a rather painful early morning departure.

Availability of connecting flights from Australia to Singapore via Velocity may be limited in Business Class. Consider flying Jetstar or Scoot for a (relatively) cheap one-way positioning flight instead.

Just remember to leave enough buffer time between flights to account for possible delays – an overnight stay is safest and also breaks up the trip.

As of 23 March 2026, here is some of the availability in Business Class from Singapore to London Gatwick. Note that as availability is dynamic, this list is subject to change at short notice.

Using KrisFlyer miles for this route

Of course, you can also use KrisFlyer miles on this route. Finding connections to/from Australian ports will be easier as a KrisFlyer member, as Singapore Airlines makes more seats available.

  • Rest of Australia/NZ to London Gatwick: From 141000 KrisFlyer miles + A$133
  • Singapore to London Gatwick: From 108,500 KrisFlyer miles + S$66

With the route becoming more popular for flyers, Mohamed Rafi Mar, General Manager UK & Ireland, Singapore Airlines, said they are pleased to be adding more flights.

“Over the busy summer holiday period, families can continue to rely on Singapore Airlines for world-class hospitality and our award-winning onboard service.”

Summing Up

If you’re planning to book a flight from Singapore to London-Gatwick, now is a good time to do so. Increased Business Class reward seat availability is an added bonus.

KrisFlyer members should prioritise newer flights when looking for reward seats. These flights show better Saver award availability than the existing flights.
