My ideal situation would be for Qantas to live up to its recent promise of releasing J seats out of OZ, to ports such as USA and Europe for those who don’t have status but spend big $ to obtain the FF points, and while their at it sell FF points at a price point as say AS and AA do with occasional discounts. If not I’ll continue to fly out of Asia as I have done for years, due to a plethora of J seats being available even at short notice ie few months, on numerous OneWorld Airlines with low cost fees, at times using AA or AS points too.
