Hilton to launch partnership with Yotel

Earn and redeem Hilton Honors points on stays by the end of 2026.

Hilton Honors members will eventually be able to earn and redeem their points with Yotel, an independent hotel chain known primarily for its compact, tech-focused rooms.

With the partnership kicking off ‘later in 2026’, members will have access to Yotel’s 23 properties dotted around the globe, including the low-frills YotelAIR range of airport hotels.

Yotel is the first addition to the new ‘Select by Hilton’ banner, which will incorporate other high-quality established brands. These properties will retain their identity and management, while participating in the broader Hilton Honors loyalty program.

Christian Charnaux, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Hilton, says the partnership supports Hilton’s growth strategy.

“This agreement further strengthens our network effect by connecting a beloved independent brand like YOTEL into the powerful Hilton Honors network.”

What it’s like to stay at YotelAIR

Travellers might be particularly interested in the YotelAIR brand, which operates airport hotels designed for shorter stays or layovers. Major locations include:

  • Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
  • Istanbul Airport (Airside)
  • London Gatwick Airport
  • Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
  • Singapore Changi Airport

They can be great value if you just need a bed and a private bathroom, though you’ll sacrifice space. Rooms are generally on the ‘cosier’ side, though some locations feature smart movable beds, under-mattress storage and swing-out tables to add some customisation to your stay.

We’ve previously spent a night at YotelAIR Singapore Changi Airport, located within the Jewel complex. The location is fabulous for an overnight layover, with close proximity to the shopping and food courts (and supermarket and cinema, if that tickles your fancy…) at Jewel.

With a comfortable bed, it provided a peaceful, restful stay at a reasonable price. Being able to earn and use Hilton Honors points on it later this year should be handy.

At the time of writing, Hilton hasn’t confirmed when Yotel will officially be bookable with points, or how much room rewards will cost. The brand says it’s aiming to go live by the end of 2026.
