What it is
The Point Hacks MCP App helps you discover and compare Australian credit card and frequent flyer offers published on Point Hacks.
It works with MCP-compatible clients such as ChatGPT (Apps / Developer Mode) and Claude (custom connector or Connectors Directory). Some tools open interactive UI views inside the chat; others return structured offer data the assistant can summarise.

Typical flow
- Compare broadly with
credit-card-finder, or list offers withlist-credit-card-previews. - When you want detail on one card, call
credit-card-previewwith the exactslugfrom the list (e.g.westpac-altitude-black-qantas-guide). - Open the guide for editorial detail, or apply only when you intend to start an application (links open on Point Hacks–owned domains).
Do not invent guide slugs from card names — use list-credit-card-previews first.

Limitations
Please keep these boundaries in mind:

| Slug accuracy | credit-card-preview requires an exact guide slug from list-credit-card-previews. Guessed slugs return found: false. |
| Catalog freshness | List and preview tools fetch live catalog data per request. The finder UI may use a short-lived session cache for performance. |
| Affiliate links | Guide and apply URLs include attribution parameters. Commission relationships are disclosed in the app and on guide pages. |
| Off-topic requests | Booking flights, banking transfers, or non–credit-card tasks are outside this app’s tools. |
