Revolut has introduced a new top-tier Ultra Plan card for its debit card in Australia. At $99.99/month (or $999/year), Ultra includes benefits across multiple categories, such as lounge access. It might also give premium credit cards a run for their money – particularly as you don’t need to undergo a credit assessment.
Unlimited lounge access is a rare benefit. The Ultra card competes with products such as the American Express Platinum card and the MyCard Prestige for its travel and lifestyle benefits.
Ultra card benefits
The Revolut Ultra card includes benefits across everyday spending, subscriptions and travel. Some of the travel benefits you can gain are:
- A 1:1 point redemption rate with more than 44 airline partners, including Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines, and British Airways
- Unlimited airport lounge access at over 1,400 locations, and fast-track through security at over 180 airports. Note that this is for the member only and does not include a guest.
- Travel insurance
- Unlimited international currency exchange with no additional fees
- $6,000 in subscription bundles including Duolingo, ClassPass and NordVPN
- Monthly 3GB eSIM allowance

Matt Baxby, CEO of Revolut Australia, says the card combines travel benefits with a range of subscription packages.
“It’s the perfect tool for Aussies who want more from their money, their investments, and their everyday experiences.”
How does the Ultra card compare to existing cards?
One of the main differences between the Revolut Ultra card and other premium cards on the market is the annual fee. However, the Revolut card is a debit card rather than a credit card, so there’s no credit check involved. Indeed, this card could be a good fit for self-employed or retired people who might otherwise struggle to get a credit card.
| Card | Card Type | Annual Fee | Lounge access | Reward Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revolut Ultra Card | Debit card | $999 p.a. (or $99/month) | Unlimited at 1,400+ locations for member only | Earn 1 RevPoint per $1 spent (Can be transferred to 40+ airline partners at a 1:1 rate) |
| American Express Platinum | Credit card | $1,450 p.a | Unlimited at 1,500+ locations for member and at least one guest | Earn up to 2.25 American Express Points per $1 on eligible purchases (Can be transferred to 10+ airline partners at a 3:1 rate for most of them) |
| MyCard Prestige | Credit card | $700 p.a | 15 Priority Pass visits included a year | Earn up to 3 MyCard Reward points per $1 spent on eligible transactions (Can be transferred to Velocity Frequent Flyer at a 2:1 rate) |
Summing Up
If you’re considering a new premium payment card, the Revolut Ultra may be worth comparing with other options on the market. While the Ultra card is priced higher than some other cards, it is a debit card rather than a credit card. However, one thing it doesn’t have is a sign-on points bonus.
Until 10 July 2026, new and existing customers can get 10% off their monthly Ultra plan for the first 3 months. You can sign up or upgrade to the Ultra card via the Revolut app.

This isn’t correct – it’s not a 1:1 transfer to all partners.
You should really check your facts before publishing considering this is a points page.
Their website does not specifically mention which frequent flyer programs are included nor the actual redemption rates for each program. Is there any way of confirming this before signing up?
