Hilton Hotels now allows you to pre-select your room using Google Maps, taking into account nearby landmarks, parks and roads.
You can choose whether to stay in a room next to a freeway or a restaurant wall, or to have a clear view of the Eiffel Tower. If you are an early bird, you can choose an east-facing room, or the opposite if you fancy a sleep-in.

Who can access this?
This feature to available for those who have made their booking through the Hilton website or a corporate travel partner, as an incentive to direct clients away from third-party websites such as Expedia or Booking.com.
It is currently available for just under half of the 4600 Hilton brand properties worldwide, with the rest to be included by the end of the year.
It is currently only available on the mobile app through the iOS and Android platforms, but will be integrated into online channels over the next few months.
How do I use the Google Maps feature?
Open the Hilton Honors app and use the Google Maps function to browse your room options. You can check in and choose your room from 6am on the day prior to your stay.
At some properties, you can also obtain your digital key and go straight to your room upon arrival.
