Can I maintain my Status with Velocity Family Pooling?

Hi
I am a Gold Velocity Member (initially an Explore membership but have achieved the number of status credits to keep the status).
My husband needs some status credits to make gold. We have not used family pooling previously but if we sign up making him the beneficiary, will it affect my current gold status?

Hope this helps (from their T & Cs)

Only Points and Status Credits earned from eligible flights and eligible transactions, which are flown or completed after a Family Pool has been created, will be transferred to a Beneficiary Account.
