Can I transfer Virgin Atlantic miles to Krisflyer?

Hi
I would like to transfer my 86,000 Virgin Atlantic points along with my accumulated 290,000 Velocity points to Kris Flyer to make a combined total of Kris Flyer points for book some Singapore Airlines flights. How do I do this? Do I need to book a specific flight with Singapore Airlines and redeem each of the partner’s points at the point of paying for the flight?

As far as I know, you can’t transfer Virgin Atlantic miles to Krisflyer. Krisflyer and Velocity has a special arrangement. Usually you can’t transfer points/miles from one airline program to another airline program.

You can however use Virgin Atlantic miles to redeem Virgin Atlantic and its partner airline flights.
