I am getting ready to book two adult one way reward points tickets to LA from Brisbane on Virgin, (can’t bank on getting business so we are just going to go economy). I have a couple of questions for those of you who are more experienced.
How do you book and pay for the extra leg room option?
How do I notify Virgin that I have special dietary requirements?
Is it possible to choose the seat allocation at booking? If so which are the best seats for that length of journey?

When making a redemption booking, the same options are available online as if booking a paid fare. I.e. if you have Velocity status which would offer you better seat access, that should reflect in the seat maps shown in the booking process. Same for allocating extra legroom seats, those options should show up there during the booking as well.
Special dietary requirements are usually handled post-booking in the Manage My Booking function, once all is confirmed.
