Best routes/airlines to take from Sydney to Sweden using Velocity points?

Hi all,

i’ve been doing my own research and trying to figure out the best way to get to sweden from Sydney on points, but finding it rather difficult as virgin do not directly fly there. I’ve had a look at Singapore and have found a suitable flight but noticed their tax’s on top is quite high ($400+), which in turn would be $800+ return which is quite excessive compared to what Virgin charges.

Would be great if someone could give me an alternative route/airline that is cheaper.

Personally, I would suggest you consider redeeming Singapore airline flights via Velocity FF to minimise your out of pocket costs. As Stockholm is not a major hub serviced by Singapore Airlines, I would also suggest searching availability for other European hubs serviced by Singapore Airlines (e.g. CDG, ZRH, etc.). and find a cheap intra EU flight to get to Sweden.
