I’m planning a Europe trip next year and would like to redeem my velocity points for business class travel (probably with Singapore). I currently have gold status with virgin and require a fair few status credits to maintain it for another year. I understand you accrue status credits on virgin any seat rewards, but not on the specific reward seats.
Does anyone know if sectors flown in a kris flyer award are eligible for status credits?
In general, award flights won’t earn points or status.
