I’ve seen the promotion of purchasing Alaska miles.
The question is how easy is it when redeeming Alaska miles for Cathay Pacific J? I search the availability on JAL and nothing is available unless for couple days later.
What is the best way to search for J award for Cathay?
The route im looking is SYD-NRT or SYD-HKG

Do u think it is too risky to buy miles in advanced? Im planning to some Alaska miles but im not going to redeem any flight soon, just to keep it and use it later this year or maybe next year.
