Any advice on how/where to find award flights from Asia to Seattle using Velocity Points?

Hi,

I have a heap of velocity points (140k) and I want to get to Seattle from Asia. I am easy as to where I start my journey. Been looking for awards availability and the system doesnt pop out any results.

Delta fly direct from seattle to hong kong, yet i can see no avaibality on any dates even if there is awards availability on delta and virgin atlantic website. I even called virgin and lady said she couldnt find anything.

Alternatively Hainan fly both beijing and shanghai to seattle direct. Online the virgin booking system does not show any availability on either of these routes direct, but if i search hong kong to seattle it sends me via beijing (hong kong to PEK on hong kong airlines, then the direct flight from beijing to seattle on Hainan).

Similar issue with delta flights out of tokyo - no availability from Narita to Seattle, but there is availability from Narita to Portland (with a connection in Seattle).

Any booking/routes/availabity advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ring Velocity, they can book you on flights that dont show up in the online booking system.

Thanks for the advice, but I called them and they could not see flights on their system. As i said above they can see hong kong - beijing - seattle, but cannot book just beijing - seattle leg of the trip.

How about transfer Velocity to KF and book a *A flight?
EVA fly Taipei to Seattle.

Or you could look for a united seat, and go through LA.
