What are the differences between the Amex Platinum Card and Amex Business Platinum Charge Card?

Hello,

I am inquiring if there is any major difference between the cards apart from being personal and business card. I read that there are benefits on Amex Platinum Card such as free AMEX Platinum Reserve credit card and Star Alliance Gold after just three flights etc. I am inquiring whether Amex Business Platinum Charge Card unlocks the same benefits?

I asked a few friends that holds both cards and they tell me the following:

The business version :

  • Newspaper subscription
  • Different point categories
  • Travel insurance activated without needing to spend the tax component on the card
  • up to 99 supplementary cards (has to technically be employees)
  • Not 3 point per dollar when spending on dining. Only 2ppd.
