Hi fellow travellers, I need your expert advice please on how to use your amex points to fly business to europe.
So my partner and I have about 155,000 points each and being the newbie that I am, there’s just so many options out there I just don’t know the best way to maximise our points.
We’re looking to fly into either London, Rome or Paris.
If we can choose, we’ll fly in to either london or rome and fly out from Paris, but I’m aware it’d cost more(?).

Before transferring your Amex points, I would advise checking award availability first.
Depending on which Amex card or program your points are in, the transfer rate to the FF program is different. Amex explorer is 4 amex points: 3 FF pts.
On most FF programs, 2 one ways costs the same as 1 return. This is true for Qantas, Velocity, Krisflyer but false for Asia Miles.
If you can avoid flying out of UK, you can avoid having to pay a hefty departure tax.
