What is the best UK-based credit card for points earn?

My brother-in-law has moved to the UK and flies back to Adelaide at least once a year with his partner.

I want to get him in on the points game but don’t know much about offers outside Australia.  Does anyone have any good credit card recommendations?

Someone previously suggested the BA Premium Plus Amex

I can’t really get into UK card recommendations, but Head for Points in the UK is excellent.

One other thing to consider - if he is an existing Aussie Amex customer, an international account transfer might give him a leg up in getting a UK card faster without a credit record in the UK.
