Any experience when trying to cancel your Bankwest World Mastercard?

Hi

Given Bankwest’s recent decision to cut points earning by a significant 33% I will almost certainly cancel it. However,  I’m interested to hear from other people if they’ve been offered in last 2 weeks when trying to cancel any incentive to stay on.

For me the only reason I’d stay on is if they waive the annual fee for at least a year.

Can’t see that they would care much. It is still the only card I know of that still offers some points and forex fee free.
