Applying for ANZ black frequent flyer card again after 2 years - would I still get the 75k signup bonus?

Dear all Pointhacks fellows

I came across this deal where ANZ is offering 75000 bonus points as sign up bonus and i thought this is almost time as my Westpac black attitude is due for renewal.

A couple years ago I applied for the ANZ platinum card with the same bonus points 75k, and i was wondering if I apply the second time (the old platnium card was cancelled about 2 yrs ago), would I still get the 75k signup bonus?

I have read the terms and thought the below is relevant:
Clause 11 "Offer available to new and approved applicants who apply for an ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card account. This is a limited time only offer which may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice. Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions, or when transferring from an existing ANZ credit card or where you currently hold or have closed an ANZ Frequent Flyer, ANZ Frequent Flyer Gold, ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum or ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card within the previous twelve months. This offer applies only once per eligible customer. "

I note that it says offer applied only once per eligible customer. In this instance, would I still get the bonus points if I apply for it the second time and meet the eligibility criteria?

Does anyone have prior experience in this?

Thanks in advance!

Bernstar

Hi Bernstar,

You should qualify because you have served the 12 month waiting period.

I wish I had read the fine print.-I’ve just got off the phone to ANZ asking where are my 75K bonus points. As Id gone through my FF statements and realised it hadn’t been paid (monthly purchases had been). Only to be told as I have a Platinum visa as part of my Mortgage package, ‘Im eligible’ -Bugger, so I cancelled it on the spot!!
