A contrasting experience – moving up in the world to stay at the Club InterContinental Fiji

On our second day at the InterContinental, we decided that we could actually afford to stay an extra night, shifting our flight from an early morning departure to one later the following day. This gained us about 30 hours additional time at the resort.

This was handled by booking into a Club InterContinental room which had the few remaining rooms in the resort, and after IHG Ambassador status upgrades kicked in we were staying in a 2 Bedroom Club suite. Given my previous write-up on the main resort area and a pair of Ocean View rooms , this one focuses on the Club InterContinental specifically. Continue reading…

I loved the InterContinental Resort Fiji for a Fiji family resort break

After our stay at the Sheraton Villas we were ready to move on – we’d got a bit bored of the food and activities on offer on Denarau, and were keen for a change.

For this trip our little group is two adults, a 3 year old and 9 month old – meaning I only had to find 2 or 3 seats using points, as Abby, our 9 month old, can travel as an infant. I really tried to book everything using points, so read on for how we managed to bring in a pretty deluxe holiday for not so deluxe money, and for my thoughts on Fiji Airways A330 Business Class.
