Purchased flights on Points and pay recently. I understand that the flights are not eligible for frequent flyer points, but am I still eligible for status credits?
We’ve had several ‘economy reward’ flights paid with points + pay and have never received status credits or points with Virgin.
Got the better of me and I spoke to the guest centre.
No points. No status credits. Doesn't even count as eligible sectors.
But if I pay for regular tickets, I can still use some points - and get status credits, and they are counted as eligible sectors.
