Can anyone suggest a good 1st class route from New York to Sydney via Europe using frequent flyer miles?

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest a routing using ff miles to fly first class from New York to Sydney via Europe (Stopover) excluding KRISFLYER?

Does it all have to be one airline? If so, you can fly  Emirates from NYC>Milan>Dubai>Sydney.

However, if you’re happy to mix airlines within the same alliance, you’re going to have to narrow it down a bit as there are quite a lot of options. Does it all need to be in first? Do you have miles with a particular airline or card? What is the maximum stopovers you’d be ok with?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, that would be the ideal routing, however, the points through qff are astronomical.

I have points with AAdvantage, Lifemiles, Alaska Air, QFF, Krisflyer

My destinations are as follows:

Sydney/Brisbane to Asia -hong kong ( Phuket is final destination therefore i will need to purchase a seperate return ticket to hong kong)

Asia to USA ( any where )

The above 2 can be done in a mixture of business and first flying cathay pacific using Alaska miles for 80,000miles

Then With Singapore in first for 132000 points

New York to frankfurt  a380(stopover in frankfurt for 3 months)

Frankfurt to Singapore a380 (stop over in Singapore for 4 nights)

Singapore to Sydney a380

The routing above can be done in any order after the asia leg, hence trying to find out most economical way to travel it in first.  Should you have any other suggestions, please let me know
